I don't mean to change this to a Superbar thread but I have to ask a photography question.

In the UNCC thread you said you have a Canon T4i.  Can I ask what settings you use for these?  I have a T1i that I have been using in my unpaid, unofficial team (completely amateur) photographer position for my daughter's team.  I seem to only get about 25-50% of the photos I take focused on the correct subject.  For the others, they are mostly just not quite focused.  The never seem to be completely blurry.  I don't use the full Auto setting because I don't want the flash going off during play.

Thank God for digital cameras, because I wouldn't be able to afford developing all the blurry photos I get.

Just curious.  Great photos by the way.

If you go to flickr, where they're posted, it shows the metadata for each shot.  Generally, I'm shooting in manual with the aperture wide open at f2.8, ISO 1600 and between 1/400 and 1/640 shutter speed.  I've been messing around with the autofocus, but I think the AI Servo mode makes it easier with moving subjects. Its still not the easiest thing to get the shots in focus.  You need to make sure that your shutter speed is fast enough.  It should be 1/250 minimum for shooting people.  I would like to have it even faster than 1/640, but the aperture is wide open and I'm worried about noise if I go up to to ISO3200.  Not sure if this helps, but I'm still pretty new to photography.  Let me know if you have any more questions.

What are you using as your weapon of choice to capture these?

Thanks much for posting the great pics!   :o

How does one search on Flickr to find your images?  I wanted to look at the metadata.  What do you use for a white balance setting?  I know the cannon 7D is "the" sports camera.  Do you plan on upgrading ever?
All this talk of rights.  So little talk of responsibilities.

You can find my photos at www.flickr.com/photos/nkleba/ .  I am using a t4i with the 200mm F/2.8 lens, with auto WB, some with corrections in Lightroom if needed. I just got the t4i about a month ago, so no plans on upgrading at the moment.
