Take Koenig over Wilson in a heartbeat--Wilson does some nice things around the basket but he's much smaller looks like 3 inches shorter than Koenig and not nearly as strong-Koenig got around him at will with his ball handling skills-and koenig is an elite passer--better shooter too in my opinion although he did not take many shots--not impressed with breakaway dunks-any one and their granma can do that these days.

Frank Kapinski......is that you??????

You'd rather take a guy that's #82 RSCI vs #60 RSCI?

I'd much rather have Wilson, he has a much higher ceiling.

your 'higher ceiling' is subjective....ratings are for the birds.  did you not watch them play?  point guard wilson is not.  Koenig has the higher celing in my view and is a true point guard with the skills he showed.  everyone said that.

Thanks Yoda.

But seriously if you are viewing Wilson as a "pure point guard" you very well be right.  A lot of people mentioned here that he might be better playing off the ball, but still has a good handle.  I would rather have Wilson because he fits into Marquette's system better than Koenig would.

You say Wilson could not stay with Koenig yet in the 2nd half Koenig was silent and LA was bailed out by #33.  LA also had to switch to a zone since nobody could keep Wilson from the rim.  Wilson got better as the game went on Koenig got tired.
Wilson is a legit 6'2 to 6'3 walked past him last night.  I am 6' and he has 2-3 inches on me.  Koenig is only about an inch taller at 6'4.

I'm fairly certain they live in Tosa.  I'm pretty sure he played with the Tosa East travelling program in 7th and 8th grades.

http://www.wauwatosanow.com/sports/90845064.html

he did play junior red raider basketball... used to see him and his folks at many games, as my boy played as well, though several grades below.
his height as an 8th grader was his biggest asset at that point-  showed some athleticism, but just over 'talled' the other kids mostly.

to play jr. RR basketball you have to either live in 'Tosa or go to a 'Tosa school as open enrollment or 212 or something.
not sure if they have the 'or parents working in 'Tosa' rule like some other teams/leagues do.

was hoping he'd be at east, but.....

So a worse player with a lower ceiling means nothing to you?

I guess that makes sense why Bo has never been held to a higher standard with his recruiting. Apathetic fans.

I think this is funny, because if Wilson had signed with UW and Keonig with MU, we would be having the same argument in reverse.

An awesome comeback, even if it was 4 1/2 months in the making.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.
