Nothing on ESPN right now, but Wake Forest boards are all saying it just happened.  Good good friend of Tom Crean's.

Very sad. He seemed like a nice guy in a sport that needs more of them.

Knight Commission

I met him once when he was at Xavier and he told me it was a shame that Xavier and Marquette were not in the same conference.

Always thought Prosser rode Pete Gillen's coat tails but I was wrong. He was a good coach.

MU gimp ONE

He was a good coach and a great guy.  He knew how to run a classy program and got a lot from his players.  He turned that Wake Forest program around.  He always had great props for Marquette and even modeled their game day experience after Marquette's when they saw it first hand in 2003.  I still remember the article with him talking about how he has never seen so much enthusiasm at a game and so much crowd participation then at Marquette.  He will be missed in the coaching community.
