I am not a member, but I think the first line is all we really need...

MU has been leading for Crittle for some time, http://www.windycitybasketball.com/index.php?id=286

........ makes u wonder if he's really TC's priority recruit on the baseline.  Maybe its Ben-Eze or even Sutton?

And that top line would be:

Despite a well reviewed visit to Bloomington for a recent Indiana Elite Camp, the Marquette Golden Eagles appear to remain at the top for 6-foot-8 power forward Josh Crittle. The Chicago area player talked to us about his recruiting picture yesterday in Las Vegas.

highly touted recruit over 6'7"?!? that would shut some ppl up if he was the beginning of a trend where we brought in some 4 and 5's w/ talent and size.

It sure would shut me up.  Crean's biggest (only really important?) shortcoming is lack of quality big men on any consistent basis.

Calvin:  Nobody thinks I'm a genius.

Yesterday in Las Vegas with coaches like Kelvin Sampson and Tom Crean looking on, Josh Crittle scored seven points to help lead his Mean Streets squad to a hard fought 47-42 win over a scrappy Louisiana Stars team. The game was a pool play contest that is part of The Main Event tourney.

Crittle saw a lot of time with his frontline teammate Michael Dunigan riding the bench.

Crittle has Marquette and Indiana on top
"He (Dunigan) hurt his knee early in the game but it doesn't look that bad," said Crittle.

With good post players from the Class of 2008 dropping off the board, Crittle has become a hot commodity for many big conference programs. He gave us his current list of schools.

"Marquette, Indiana, Oregon, Iowa, Virginia, Virginia Tech, that is about it," said Crittle.

The Ducks recently garnered verbal commitments from his Mean Streets teammates Michael Dunigan and Matthew Humphrey but Crittle says while that will help the Pac-10 program, it didn't sound like it will play a huge factor in his decision.

"I thought about it and it makes a difference, but not a lot of difference," said Crittle.

Indiana had the chance to host Crittle recently when he made the drive down for the Hoosiers' Elite Camp last month.

"It was better competition than I thought it would be," said Crittle. "Got the chance to go around campus and see the dorms and all that stuff. Coach Sampson is a real cool guy and he personally took me around campus."

Marquette is the only other program he has seen recently and seems to really like the Golden Eagles.

"I like Marquette a lot and right now Marquette has a slight lead over Indiana," said Crittle.

Ilprepbullseye post...

"Don't believe everything that is out there concerning 6'8 Josh Crittle from Hales Franciscan High School in Chicago.  What is accurate is that Marquette and Indiana are the current frontrunners, with Iowa right behind them.  Not to say that there isn't also interest from other schools, but right now anything else concerning any others right now is pretty much hearsay.  However, one other school that Illinois Prep Bulls-eye knows is showing heavy interest in Crittle is S.M.U.  In fact, Mustang assistant coach Lance Irvin, who has strong Chicago-based connections, was in the gym to watch a majority of Crittle's games with Mean Streets at the NIKE Peach Jam."

I'll third that.   I can just imagine all the IU crying if he chooses MU instead
