Blue to be re-evaluated; MU and the shrinking Big East

The educated assumption on Vander Blue's left knee was generally positive after he slipped and bent it under him in the victory Wednesday against Southern Cal during the last round of the Maui Invitational. The on-site doctor told Buzz Williams that Blue didn't tear anything, that the injury was a sprain.

"Meanwhile, the loss of another high-profile Big East team - Rutgers and the New York market to the Big Ten"

Rutgers - a high profile Big East team?  Hunt must be talking football.

Rutgers gives the Big Ten the New York market?  Wacky tobacky must be in good supply on the islands.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

You get the odd sense from this article that Marquette is waiting around to see what all the other good b-ball schools are going - and not taking a lead in its future.  I can't believe that is true.  something must be going on under the covers . . .

I am confident the athletic dept. is exploring options of where MU could land...and that they arent just twiddling their thumbs until the dust settles.

Aren't you forgetting who sits in the UPrez and AD chairs? These men are dedicated to de-emphasizing basketball at MU
