Is Buzz finished recruiting for 2013?

Is there a big man still out there being recruited for 2013? Numerous posters have complained about the lack of size in that class, but logic would suggest Buzz is not done. After all, he tried to land Embiid. But who is still out there who would be worth it, even in the JC ranks? To those who think there are no scholarships available, there has been plenty of discussion about the possible departures of Otule and Mayo, but don't forget that Thomas was a walk-on until being granted a scholarship. He could return to walk-on status next season.

He's always recruiting...probably looking for potential JUCOs or late bloomers out of high school who are waiting for spring signing period.

If Otule and Mayo return, Marquette is over by one, even with Thomas going back to walk-on status. I don't think Buzz is done recruiting, but I also don't think we're going to see as vigorous a pursuit of any player in the nation as he gave to Embiid. I don't think Buzz has ever worked harder to land a recruit than he did Jojo. And there simply aren't that many guys left of that caliber with whom we could realistically get in with this late in the recruiting cycle.

A name or two may pop up, but I don't expect any more additions.

I agree with Brew.  We made our big splash yesterday.  There could be a name in the spring if Buzz has an open scholly at that time.  I suspect Chris will make a decision and share it with Buzz well in advance.  No doubt in my mind that if Chris wants to return, he'll be more than welcomed and the recruiting of his replacement will be put off one year.

Never done, but if he's able to schedule 10 visits right now, I'd guess 8 of them go to guys in the 2014 or 15 classes

Where he'll have several slots to fill.  Could be as many as 4 with VB, DG, Chris, JWill.
