Buckeyes into spirit of Carrier Classic

They will wear military-style camo uniforms Friday night against Marquette.

I don't like this.  Unless we have some uniform surprise of our own, it sets up Ohio State as the "military's team", and MU as the other guys.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

We usually are the 'other' guys.

Yeah, but also the ones with the cool uniforms.

I believe it was tweeted last week that we would have camo uniforms as well. Haven't seen anything official though.

EDIT: Broeker tweeted yesterday that MU would be "modeling" the carrier classic uniforms today.

That would be my guess too considering the "United We Stand" was the blue camo.

If we're playing in an aircraft carrier, wouldn't a true camouflage uniform have ocean and fighter jets on it?

Mike Broeker: Pending announcement surrounding @carrierclassic has me more excited than game itself. #mubb

He stated the announcement would come after modeling the unis, so it has nothing to do with them. Thoughts?

My guess:  Obama accepted the invitation and will attend.

Marquette has accepted a Big Ten invitation effectively immediately.  This will be their first conference game.

I'm also assuming that this is the announcement, but Broeker's gone silent about it since his initial tweet.  Anyone heard anything?

The boat will sail to international waters where the NCAA has no jurisdiction and Todd Mayo can play?

We are changing our name back to Warriors...sort of.  We will henceforth be known as the Marquette Wounded Warriors.

We ain't wounded, not even with Todd Mayo gone.

Love our soldiers and our veterans, but we're not wounded.

Give it a few weeks and we will be.  We always seem to be.

All this means to me is there is one more person likely rooting for the state of Ohio.
