Alabama boards references a "an incident" that happened during his recruiting at Alabama - anybody know what that was?

They started showing him the facilities, meeting some of the players, then had him meet with Coach Sabin.  It was then they realized he was a basketball recruit, but they still thought they made the best pitch to get him to campus.

Florida, Georgia, Texas A&M and Alabama all sit ahead of MU in the US News rankings, so maybe hop off that high horse. Chances are, if a kid wants a quality education he'll get it wherever he chooses to go.

Living proof you can buy anything. Naming Alabama a great university is like equating a Yugo to a BMW. The cutting edge of Serbo-Croatian technology just didn't cut it.

Likewise, the cutting edge of contemporary Bubba education is no match for the Jesuits -- or anyone educated in a Midwestern school. As used to say in Tennessee when we looked at the quality of our public education, "at least we're not Alabama and Mississippi!"

You can get a perfectly fine education at Alabama or any other SEC school. Really sine when do we get to be all snobby about Marquette now?
