Doing the Big Apple

New York - Louisville, no shock there, was the unanimous preseason choice Wednesday to win the Big East at the league's annual media day at the New York Athletic Club.

Great that the JS popped for some travel this year.

What's going on here? I feel that I just woke up in some parallel universe but in this one the JS actually now pays attention to all things MU related and PAYS for a reporter to go to NY and cover the MU beat!  I can't get my mind around this concept.

Taking care of Mike Hunt is not cheap.
Relax. Respect the Process.

Mike Hunt is all over this

An aside:

"My suit, I never had a tailored suit before," Cadougan said. "I get to put on my first suit and go to New York. The media, seeing all the players, It's great. It's a first-time experience and it's been great so far.

How does this work? Is Cadougan provided with a suit? Did he pay for it? Sound kind of like that's taken care of. That's pretty awesome, but how would that be compliant with the NCAA?
"Half a billion we used to do about every two months...or as my old boss would say, 'you're on the hook for $8 million a day come hell or high water-.    Never missed in 6 years." - Chico apropos of nothing

Several hundred members of the media were at the NYAC to hear Big East commish Mike Aresco say for the umpteenth time that all is well with a league that is being hit with high-profile defections.

Was hit, Mike.  Was hit.  Making it sound like a continuing thing is indicative of bias, no?

I only got yelled at a couple of times by the keepers at the august New York Athletic Club. I even adhered to the dress code, which doesn't require a tie.

Our Mike Hunt, a reporter first, and a professional never.

Good thing, because I didn't see many discount shops around 59th and Central Park South.

Fortunately JS reimbursement made searching for a Ponderosa unnecessary.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Yeah!  And where do they get the money for their uniforms and shoes?!
