nice idea Barry, too bad your team can't compete with the "haves" either.   well, I guess we don't know since Barry won't schedule a game against the "haves"

"the guys that are filling those big stadiums" Barry was talking about schools in the Big 10, big 12, SEC and Pac 12, but the people actually filling those stadiums and earning the Big TV contracts are, in fact, the "student" athletes who due to collusion by those schools cannot negotiate for a fair share of the money that they bring in.

I keep saying it, and one day it will come to pass, college athletes will get paid, and it will be due to the complete lack of perspective of guys like Alvarez who will be stunned when it happens.
