Now that Nunn is off the market who do you think Buzz should be going for to fill out the last schollie for 2013? There another guard from Illinois who I like, his name is Lorenzo Dillard. Saw him play a bunch and the kid is really good. Very quick and very good with the ball.

Darin Johnson comes in next week.

As of right now, that is our only scheduled official visit.

Otule's Glass Eye

Johnson, Matthews or Stevie Clark should be next on the list if Buzz really wants a guard.

Also, Ron Patterson is in play for MU, assuming he gets his books straight. He's heading to Brewster Academy, which is where Deonte Burton was playing before he returned to Milwaukee.

GGGG

Also where Kyle Washington plays now.

Son of Skip Dillard?

I know they are related but I think Skip is his uncle, not his dad. Kid has major potential just hasnt gotten the recognition because he transferred and didnt play half of his Jr. season.

Edit: just did some looking around Skip Dillard is his dad.

Schuyler Rimmer decommits from Florida. Was he on our radar at one time?

Yes.  There was an entire thread around it.
Relax. Respect the Process.

GGGG

Well, hopefully Rimmer wasn't axed to make room for Embiid....

Posted by Percy Allen

Weeks ago it seemed a long shot the Huskies would have a chance to nab Kyle Washington, a 6-9 forward from Minnesota who plays at Brewster Academy in New Hampshire.

His initial list included as many as 10 schools and he reportedly had seven on his list last week.

In recent days, Washington cut his list to a workable number and the Huskies made the cut to the final four, according to Benjamin Worgull of BadgerNation.com. The other teams are North State Carolina, Baylor and Ohio State.

Buckeyes coach Thad Matta visited Washington today, according to a tweet from Brewster Academy coach Jason Smith.

MONDAY MORNING LINKS:

--- Darin Johnson, a 6-4 guard from Sacramento, visited Oregon last weekend and now puts the Ducks at the top of his list. Johnson is expected to visit Washington (Oct. 6) and Marquette on Thursday. He's also made an official trip to San Diego State and he may have made an unofficial trip to California.

B.S.  Don't believe the hype.

In regard to Washington, In that article Wisc did not make the final 4, which is being reported by badgernation?  Are you hearing we are still in the running with Washington?  I never got the impression we were near the Top with him?

Kam williams from the columbus dispatch.

Kameron Williams, 6-3, 170, G, Baltimore (Mount St. Joseph's)
... Williams, a deadeye perimeter shooter, is on the Ohio State campus this weekend after hurriedly scheduling an official visit following an in-home visit with Matta on Wednesday. The Buckeyes moved on him quickly after Freeman committed to UCLA last weekend and with the possibility of Nunn pulling the trigger for Illinois this weekend. Williams visited his perceived favorite, the University of Miami, last weekend. He also is considering Marquette, Syracuse and Wake Forest but has not scheduled a visit to any of them, and his father told Scout.com that "it seems like he is on the fast track to picking a school."

GGGG

We are still in the running for Washington.

brewcity77

Washington has a gap in his scheduled visits for the weekend of Oct 12. Really hope the staff can get him on campus that weekend. I don't believe we have any 2013 players currently lined up for Madness, but as of now, I believe Embiid, Patterson, and EC Matthews are both still available that weekend.

THEultimateWARRIOR

Per @JoshGershon, Marquette is now off 2013 SG Darin Johnson's list of schools.

Jones was gone before that. It is not clear whether Washington is gone. It also is not clear if Matthews is gone, since he postponed his visit.

What we will never know is if after the visit Johnson moved on from us or we moved on from him? We supposedly were not the leader anyways, but a visit can turn off either side of the parties.
