Has Notre Dame dealt the Big East a knockout blow?

Written by: Andrei Greska

Darn. When Dick Vitale opined on Twitter last Saturday that his sources were telling him Notre Dame was close to accepting an invitation to join the ACC, I had a good belly laugh. There goes crazy uncle Dick, spouting off ... Continue reading →

I really think this stabilizes things. The ACC, Big 10, SEC and Pac 10 are done. The only conference left to worry about is the Big 12 who could upset the apple cart by taking a Big East team or taking an ACC team.

The conferences are done??? Huh??? This is not done...not by a long shot. Look for the UConn and Rutgers to go to the ACC. Georgetown and Villanova will go to the ACC as hoops-only members. Louisville and Cincy will go the the Big XII. The Big East will disappear. MU, DePaul, St Johns, and Seton Hall will scramble to join the A-10.

What? How biob a conference do you think the ACC will become? No way it takes four more. Maybe GTWN, that about it. They dont want UCONN or Rutgers

Love paint touches by this time they let their emotions get the better of them and laid an egg with this article.

Andy Katz just tweeted that the ACC is done.  Rutgers/UConn/Louisville/Cincy/USF are the royally screwed schools not the basketball only schools.  The football schools left in the Big East have no home outside the Big East and not getting one anytime soon.

Basketball schools will be ok.
