I heard from a reliable source that if Kentucky doesn't offer, smart money is on Illinois.

GoldenEagleExchange

All of the recruiting guys in Illinois think it will be MU.

Yep. It's been an odd recruitment. Thought Groce was gonna close the deal earlier, but not so.

If UK doesn't offer, I love MU's chances.

Hey Kendrick!!! MU is for U!!!!

Groin_pull

His Dad may be interested in MU, but it doesn't appear that Kendrick is. My guess is, he has stars in his eyes and wants to go to an elite program...even if he never plays.

GGGG

The Bullseye Brothers in fact stated last month that Nunn likes Marquette and is definitely a finalist.  That doesn't mean that Nunn is satisfied with MU and doesn't want to explore every option before committing - especially since he feels he made a big mistake by committing to Texas A&M early.

I don't get people's fascination with bashing a player like Nunn for believing he is good enough to play for Kentucky or OSU. He'd be a great fit at any program and it seems petty to downplay his talent just because it looks like he may be looking elsewhere.

I think this is it. He'll jump at UCLA or Kentucky (and I would too). I'm less concerned about OSU and not concerned about U of I at all.

Tyshawn Taylor is a good example.  He really crashed and burned after dumping MU for KU, right? But then pettiness is what these boards are all about.

Speaking of petty,  Fixed.

OSU is very quickly becoming a blue blood type program.  It all depends on how Nunn sees them.  They've certainly landed their fair share of high profile recruits lately.

This says UCLA is one of 10 offers he has received.

Well then we're screwed according to everyone with no knowledge of the situation.  Oh well, time to move one.

I hope the cat is good enough to play at one of these elite programs. If not, I don't want him. One of these days, Buzz is gonna rip one of these top kids away from UNC, UK, or Duke. Then, the snowball will start pickin' up steam.

Bullseye tweets this morning on Nunn:

"Now that Ohio St has offered, there is no doubt that Buckeyes will be on list of schools unveilled by 6'2 2013 2G Kendrick Nunn on Aug 3."

"Fully expect that Marquette, Memphis, UCLA & Illinois will be on Nunn's "official" list as well. Will see if there's anybody else."

He can do whatever he wants. It's his life. No one is saying otherwise. I'm just being realistic. Schools like Kentucky operate on an entirely different level than MU. Kentucky is reaching when they grab a player at the bottom of the top 30. If Nunn thinks he'll see the court at Kentucky (if they were to offer), he's fooling himself. He wouldn't play as a freshman...and would be instantly recruited over the following seasons. Maybe it doesn't matter to him. Perhaps he's happy just saying he played hoops at Kentucky. No crime in that.

Lennys Tap

Looks like Kentucky and UCLA are his "reaches". Hope we're next in line and not his "safe" school.

Speaking of Tyshawn, its definitely time for MU to put a halt to recruiting guys named Taylor with the first initial T to play guard.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

You know that chick that keeps blowing you off waiting for Mr. Right so you end up finding your Ms. Right and that chick ends up settling for a two-timing turd? Yep.

So, you're saying that Nunn is headed to Louisville?

No, it's just that feeling you get with this recruitment: MU's in the pocket but I'm holding out.

As a recruit, I get it.

It's when you're the fan, it drives you nuts! lol
