MU Fan in Connecticut

Mike Francesa was discussing this morning on WFAN in New York.  Apparently, Dick Enberg is trying to get his one play about Al McGuire to play on Broadway.

wow, this would be incredible.....MU still has such great recognition in the NYC area because of Al and the local kids that helped built MU into an elite program back in the day.  Bringing that show to Broadway would be amazing

I would support that move!

Cuz I haven't seen it yet!!!  :(

I loved the play and all things about Al, but Enberg's work is only a little over an hour in length. Hardly what theater-goers are accustomed to in NYC. This play is more suited for "Off Broadway."

I'm really surprised they haven't put together a DVD on this.  It'd be very easy to shoot .. there aren't any real scene changes, etc.

I'd love for PBS to broadcast it during March Madness...along with the Western Kentucky cinderella story...John Wooden bio...etc.
