Who all is going on Wednesday?

Who all this its bogus its not free for season ticket holders?

Who thinks that the previous question is the real impetus for Buzz's flirting with SMU?

Going and am fine with the ten bones.    As long as the bomb isn't dropped.

All you can eat and drink....surprised more college aged kids aren't there getting hammered and fed.

I'm fine with it too, but I'm pretty sure booze isn't included.  If it was I'd have 0 issue whatsoever.

Why should it be free?? Geez, how cheap can you get.

Blackhat

Now that I think about it maybe the booze isn't free.   Don't know why I keep associating that, maybe it was free the first year or something.

Looks like we'll have this thing outside, year inside took away from the event.

Sense the tone dude......however in all seriousness, while I don't have an issue with it, simple business practice.....don't deliver something free initially and then charge for it in future iterations.

see paper, news

I'd like to go, however i do have one small request...

Can everyone from scoop wear a name tag that has there screenname on it?

"Hi my name is, Stone Cold"  Etc....

I think it would be beneficial to have a face to go with everyone when I get called a douche, dumba$$, etc by fellow members on here  :-*

I'd do it cause I know I'm better looking than everyone here except 4ever.     Cept I'm not going to be the only one to drop the en cognito and risk Chicos flying in then text harassing me to go get a beer with him the next day.

Did you have to call ahead for the bbq, or can anyone just walk up off the street and pay and get in?

Blackhat

They'll take your money any time.

You can walk up, they've allowed it in the past at least.

I per-registered online, but I have no idea if they do it onsite.  Its usually in front of Lalemeire which I would think would be tough to corral people into paying lines and keep pre-order flowing, but what do I know

I will be there. Last year as part of reseating they gave away free admission. Outside of that, they have always charged for it. This is the first year I am going.

Ah ha, that explains it, last year was the first year I went.  Error of recency failure on my part

half dozen of us going..., last year only year free to sths.  Paid in advance again this year.  Ironically, last year only year I missed.  Seems like it's always hottter than hell with the sun beating down on us as we eat.

Goose

I'll be the guy in the I Love Madtown Warrior tshirt.

madtownwarrior

Goose - please check in to see if LW and Pilarz are putting the screws to Buzz during the BBQ (maybe cutting back on the extra sauce, cheaper napkins, less appetizers, etc).

just like SLU would do a summer BBQ on the cheap and none of the attendees would complain.

GOO

Anyone that complains about $10 for this event should be examined by Larry W.
Seriously, this is not a money maker for MU Athletics.  It may cover costs only.  The food is great and would cost $20 plus at most events.

I love this event, as it could very well be a $50 a person event.  This is a great event for the regular guys and people with kids or limited budgets.  One of the few affordable, casual events that MU athletics does and its kid friendly.

I believe that Buzz sponsored the event or paid for it one year as a thank you to season ticket holders.
