Looks a lot like Darius Johnson-Odom.

The only similarities I saw in their games is that they're both left-handed 2 guards.  Nunn is crafty and can change speed.  DJO powers through everyone and everything.  Nunn has a very smooth shot.  DJO fades away, even on undefended 3 pointers.

Changes speed and direction very well.  Spin move that is shown a lot in that vid is ridiculous.  Footwork at 1:33 was something that wowed me.  Able to stop on a dime, literally go around the defender using 2 dribbles, and still square to the basket on a jump stop was fantastic.  Totally want.

Changes speed and direction very well.

It's amazing how quickly he transitions.  Very fun to watch in person.
Thanks for ruining summer, Canada.

there was a sports science on how amazingly quick djo was.  I would say that he can change speeds.

Nunn will be a great Warrior.  When will he sign for Marquette?

If UCLA doesn't offer and Nunn doesn't bite at OSU, I think we have him. That would give us a top five class in 2014: Jameel McKay (top JuCo prospect), Deonte Burton (circa top 50), Duane Wilson (circa top 50, and rising fast), and Kendrick Nunn (top 40).

Considering how big of a get Burton was at the time he committed, it'd be pretty crazy to have him be the lowest ranked high school player in our class.  That's no shot at Burton btw, just a comment on the caliber of recruits we're grabbing.

Nunn, Du Wilson and Burton > or = the Amigos (ranking wise). Add McKay and it's the best MU class on paper since Al.

Nunn would be a great pickup for 2013, but the really big pieces of the puzzle will be Looney in 2014 and Stone in 2015.  Can't imagine that happening, but what could be.

You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

I would start Nunn over Blue.
Heck, I would start Nunn over Mayo.

That is, if he is up to Buzz's defensive and team standards.

This kid would be a two-and-done at MU.

I can only imagine the Heat visiting Chicago for a game and Wade bring LeBron and DRose tags along to watch a Marquette game with Nunn and Taylor. That right there is called MU Swag.

Today is Kendrick's Birthday.

Even as high as he is rated, I think it is too low - both he and Steve have been overshadowed by the attention paid to Jabari.  Kendrick will be 2 and done wherever he ends up. Hope it's us - think he would flourish under Buzz - but his tweets suggest we are the safety school.
