Hey Gang,

Curious if anybody would happen to know what a transfer student would need academically to get into Marquette from another UW school?  Any help is much appreciated.

2.5 for a regular student, 4.0 for a basketball player.

Honestly these days it depends on what they took and how they did. The student should call and talk with admissions.

I heard Fr Pilarz is putting an end to transfers and Jucos.

Perhaps it depends upon course of study.  Not sure if this is the case at MU, but some colleges stick to a strict curriculum and don't like accepting transfers, especially those from a perceived "inferior" institution, unless they meet ridiculously high standards. Other colleges (e.g. many b-schools) will take transfers regardless of achievement just to fill in the seats vacated via attrition.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.
