Now that the summer is here...WIKI TIME!

Here some other ideas for sections of the Wiki. Tell me what you think them and post any others...

- Mascots
- Jersey Number (#22 worn by Dwyane Johnson, William Gates, etc.)

Mascots? .. Absolutely .. I can only think of 3:  The First Warrior, Bluetaux (spelling?) and the Chickenhawk. 

Anyone have pictures of any of those 3?

.. And jersey numbers .. we frequently miss the jersey#s of guys on the wiki.  It really needs to be with their name at heading1.  Sometimes that info is hard to find, though!

What we really need is more volunteers!

The wiki is pretty well used .. so far this year, we've had ~4000 unique visitors and 97k page views.  Each one of those 97,000 pages means someone wanted info about MU.  I think that's a lot of demand.

What we need are more contributors .. there's probably about 6 active volunteers who we owe a huge debt of gratitude .. imagine the depth of information if we could get .. 6 more.  There's so much MU history and knowledge on MUScoop .. if we could just capture a fraction, we'd be in great shape.

The contest was somewhat successful, in that in created hundreds of new pages, but it failed to ignite interest beyond 3-4 guys.

So here's my little nagging to all of you:  MUScoop is and always will be free and without ads.  It's just pure MU fans talking sports.

Give back.

Pick a player or a season you remember well, and spend 15 minutes and fix it up.  We get 1000 visitors/day in this off-season.  If we could get 1% of you to fix up the wiki, it would be nothing short of amazing.

So what were the mascots: pre-1954? 1971-1980? 1980-present?

You can upload pics to the wiki by clicking on the little 'picture' icon in the toolbar.  Once it's uploaded you select it, and it plops the code in the correct way.
