Larry and Father Pilarz can't get email in their ivory towers.

Sure they can. Unfortunately yours, mine and the rest of the peon's will go directly to spam.

The Blueman's source is just as good as Twitter Tracker.

Searching for Trent Lockett on Twitter.

Well I think we all pretty much figured this but I just found this article.

According to this guy on Twitter, who claims to have sources:

@dhookstead: Trent Lockett is headed to Marquette University. This is official and final. Huge get for Marquette.

Anytime you want to share your whispers, the floor is yours.

Amen.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

I would definately put Anderson in that super sub list.  I could see him having a soph season like Jimmy B's first season.  I think he is ahead of Steve T.  Also got to wonder about D. Wilson.  Without 2 superstars on the court he has to run the offense better and score some or we can't have him out there.

without two superstars on the court, he will score more.  He was deferring to Jae and DJO in his time on the court this year.

Pilarz actually lives in Campus Town East. I wonder how many of those walls they knocked out for him.

How much space does the guy need? I used to play cribbage at the Jes Res (speaking of which, is it still there?) and the good fathers had little more than a child's bedroom. Yet another example of Fr Pilarz' Prima Donna tendencies?

So if I understand this correctly, you don't actually have "sources".  You have just read and seen things posted on blogs, twitter and by Enlund.  Your connections in the program are impressive.
Time will tell but im keeping my mouth shut from now on thanks to those certain individuals who have a dire need for names of sources. Just because I don't want to name sources to doesnt mean I dont have them. Yes I am a student but my father does happen to know a few certain individuals very, and I mean very close to the situation. Don't believe a word I say. I really dont care. AT ALL. I'm just offering what I have heard to those who are interested. Also I have contact with some of his friends in Minnesota through my best friend who lives there. From what I have been told by them and others all signs point to MU. I really don't care what you guys think I'm just spreading the word to those who care. Also don't be surprised if someone transfers. Its still a definite possibility.

Not trying to be a jerk but would like to know why you think there is a 50-50. Chance that Blue will transfer?

It still stands. But the shadow casted by the new Zilber Hall makes me believe the land might be getting too valuable for it to stay.

All of this development is foreign to me. The Jes Res was the lone building surrounded by parking lots and grassy fields. We used to roast pigs on a spit in the area between McCormick and the Jes Res. Great excuse to drink beer.

That's it. Between MadMen and that story, I have officially decided that I grew up in the wrong era. Father Wild was build-crazed, but I think it's a good thing overall for the development of the university.

Nah.  The Jes Res isn't going anywhere.  MU just put pretty big money into the Varsity so that building is staying put.  The footprint isn't enough to get excited about especially when one considers how the AMU chapel extends pretty close to the Ave.

I remember we were spit roasting a pig over an open fire and Buck Raynor wanders over to ask what we were up to. We offered a beer and he accepted, gladly. He told us of open pit BBQ's from his youth in Nebraska which were community events. He ended up having a couple beers before wandering back. He made us promise to save him some roast pig, including skin, which we delivered to the Jes Res the next day.

JesRes open houses usually were keggers while I was there.

Yet the Jes bar would put most to shame.  The Miller truck used to pull up and drop off keg after keg every week.

A lot of the Jebbies were known to imbibe. Corbett Walsh wed Mrs Warthog and I - he was the one who introduced me to IRISH single malt.
