Sharpie

Marquette a finalist for C Kevin Larsen along with GW, gonzaga, PC, and VT.

Bocephys

Not much out there on him.  He appears to be a 2012 guy though, which lends credence to the "Hiroshima" rumors from earlier this week.

Marqus Howard

I'd rather have Durley. I hope he doesn't choose us.

Sharpie

I wouldn't. And I hope that was teal. By all accounts, if much rather have this kid.

Silkk the Shaka

Interesting... seems like he'd be a good get.  Hope we land him.

Why? The information out there on him is limited, so my impression is that he isn't that much better than Durley is, if at all.

And he's made up his mind already, but is waiting to announce his choice.  Sounds like the school involved asked him to hold off on the announcement for a while.  Like maybe they don't want to start rampant speculation on a message board we might know of.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

The Scout board?

No the Scout board is safe as its moderator wants to cover recruiting, not influence it.

Think extremely loud and incredibly close.

I do agree with you though, it adds up a little too nicely...

Hmmmmm....I wonder if people are starting to connect dots??

I want this quote to serve as a reminder to the vast majority of scoop posters in regards to the MU BB program.

No stars, no ranking.

Didn't play AAU this summer.  Stayed in Maryland instead, worked out and lost 50 pounds.  Seems like he could be a credible late bloomer story.

Pilarz and LW are firing up the Enola Gay and dropping bombs on any scholarship player with prior legal issues.

Cannot confirm whether or not warthog will be driving.

http://www.dmvelite.com/news/elite-players-step-big-espn-rise-nhsi ...assessment of Larsen

QuoteKevin Larsen  Montrose Christian  2012  Forward-Center  6'9 230- This Danish big man showed he has major potential.  He runs the floor hard, eats space and has descent touch.  He showed a pretty baby hook and got above the rim on occasion.  He is limited by a lack of overall athleticism but could translate into a high major prospect.  Big 10 and Big East schools take notice, this bulky big man sets screens and can shoot from the top of the key.

Looks like this was from a year ago.  "Lack of overall athleticism" aren't exactly the words you like to hear...

But we could use a big man with "descent" touch, right?  ;)

Gardner has less than stellar athleticism and he's doing OK.
