to be fair - once Stan Van Gundy went public with the fact that Howard wanted him fired, this relationship was over. but if you're getting paid, you have to go out there and play.

Orlando missed their window. Neither side wanted to be the bad guy. The Magic weren't going to get equal value for Howard but they could have gotten some decent pieces and draft picks and gotten rid of a major distraction. They're not going to win anything with Howard, so why not move him and start over?

I agree that Dwight Howard is a baby, but an ergonomic baby carrier doesn't seem practical.

Hate on LBJ all you want, but he is nowhere near the baby, people pleaser as Howard.  Magic gonna get half of what they could have got for him at the deadline.
