Wow, after reading the UConn message boards, I figured he'd end up at East Western State alongside the Ivan Brothers.

No way!  After being replaced at center by Drummond, he wasn't about to try and compete with an Ivan brother for the starting center job.  Plus, at East Western State because the budget is so low, players have to supply their own horn helmets.

"He chose Mizzou over Kentucky, Xavier, Duke and North Carolina."   Wow, would deluded be too strong a word to use when describing UConn fans.  I bet the UConn staff really has to be second guessing themselves over the decision to sign Drummond.

In a way, I guess we should be thanking UConn.  By making themselves so unattractive to any other conference, they have pretty much assured that Rutgers will be stuck in the Big East.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Drummond might one day be a good pro, but he is years away. It would take quite a leap of faith to make him a top-5 pick, as so many draftniks predict. Shows you lack of superstar quality in this draft.

I could see him going top-5 on potential, but right now he's just not at all polished. He could be the next Dwight Howard, but he could also be the next Hasheem Thabeet. But some GM will take him too early based on that potential.

Nope, he is this decades Kwame Brown.

Who are we due to play twice next year?
Wouldn't mind sticking it to UConn a couple of times on their way out.

On their way out of what?
