I'm on the L'ville bandwagon. Go Cards. As others have said, Pitino's been a great Big East ally.

Why not? Because I see them as thugs and villains, much in the mold of the old Huggins teams at Cincy. I have very little respect for Holloway, Lyons, or Frease, and if I can't cheer for those three, who else is left?

Maybe that's the nature of CBB, maybe everyone is like that, but everyone is definitely not so blatant about it. I respect the school and tradition, but not the guys they currently have on the court.

I would root for Xavier most any other year.  But Halloway's actions on that day, especially in the presser afterwards were shameful.  I'm not rooting for him or his team.

#MUBB

Yikes, rooting for Louisville is a scary thought. Think I'll take a pass on that one...

With MU out, I'll "root" for UNC because I have them winnning it in my bracket and I enjoy watching them play. I won't get too vested in any team though, just wanna see some good bball.

kira67

Hoosiers for me. Why? It's Indiana, it's Indiana.

It makes me mad. I used to always pull for MU, X, SLU and any other Jesuit school as a kid growing up. But I can't root for this year's Xavier team.

The more games Florida wins, the more it will shut up the UW-Madison loser fans who are spouting off that we were embarrassed last night by an inferior opponent.  So for that I am rooting for Florida.  God, I hate Badger fans.

Otherwise, I will take consolation in the fact that Syracuse and Louisville can earn us some more splittable Big East money for each win.
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

Golden Avalanche

Starting this morning, I've adopted the 2012-2013 Marquette University men's basketball team as I think they will need a nurturing and loving environment to develop.

Was he wrong?  I honestly think MU is a better team than Florida even after yesterday.  Played like crap and lost to a worse team.  It happens.  Bucky fans certainly know how that goes.

mu_hilltopper

Everyone rooting for Louisville is banned.

That is all.

Hoopaloop

Ohio.  I like Groce. If Buzz were to go, he would be on my short list.

In a weird way, Kentucky.  Only because it would get Coach Cal out of college basketball and back into the NBA.  Buzz to Kentucky?   :o

Baylor  (I don't think either team has played recently, plus no bad blood with anything)

Anyone but Ohio State or Indiana, cause i don't want badger fans getting any moral victories.

Hoopaloop

I cannot cheer for anything Scott Drew is involved with.  Dirty coach in my opinion.

Let's go Crean!

Is it bad if I want them or UL to win?

Got luh for Crean because of what he did for MU, and UL because Pittino is such an advocate for the BE.

Spaniel with a Short Tail

This is tough. My gut instinct is X, but I was not happy with Holloway's actions either.  My anti-gut instinct is L-Ville, but when I think about how Pitino has defended the BEast; how none of their players have demonstrated any A-Hole qualities so far; and I kind of like Dieng so that would be my choice.*

*reserve right to change my mind.

This is about how I feel.

I hate Rick, but I love watching that team.  Siva is amazing, Kuric can shoot the lights out, Behannon (sp?) is a solid force inside, and Dieng is a monster that I wish we had on our team.

radome

Basketball is dead to me for a few months. When is Marquette Madness?

Warrior_2002

I'll take Louisville as well.  I have always like Pitino "the coach" (not necessarily the person) since I was a kid.  Was devastated by Leitner's buzzer beater.

96warrior

Basketball is pretty much dead to me, too, but if forced to make a choice I'd have to say Florida. If they're going to take us out of the tournament, they better make it worth something.

jesmu84

Absolutely no B1?. Can't support Coach Cal. Baylor just seems dirty to me (disclaimer: no basis for that whatsoever). Not Boeheim.

I like Bill Self, plus Tyshawn hasn't gotten in any fights with football players lately. And I like Roy Williams. So UNC/Kansas

RushmoreAcademy

Baylor.  We 3 seeds need to stick together........................... ?
