My favorite play tonight was when Blue airballed a layup. He's great.

Great Season.  DJO and Jae are much better than tonight.
You heard it here first. Davante Gardner will be a Beast this year.

Inadvertent is 2 shots and the ball. Intentional is 2 shots, the ball, and ejection. They've been clear on that all tournament. We were absolutely ass-raped on that call.

TallTitan34

Two free throws and the ball!!!!  Or not.

How long until Midnight Madness? Thanks Jae, thanks DJO.

madtownwarrior

MU's "elite" PG had double the fouls than pts + assists (4 = 2 * (0 + 2))

DJO misses layup.  Thats about it guys.  Good run, but terrible performance to end the year.  Just terrible.

Best of luck to DJO and Jae in trying to make the NBA.  You two provided the MU faithful with great memories.

Hards Alumni

No we missed our shots and we deserved to lose.

marquette09

I realize that we did not lose because of that non-flagrant call, but WTF? They looked at the fu*cking replay.  By rule that is a flagrant 1

Down 6, two to go, two shots and the ball.

And this is why I said a Big East title mattered. At the end of the year, we've come nowhere since last year. Really feel bad for DJO and Jae, they deserved better. Ugh.

Jumping Jesuit

Overall great season. We'll miss you Crowder and DJO. Way to make us proud with your hard work on the court. Go get 'em in the Association.

Mike Deane's Seat Belt

lol at least it would open up a scholarship slot for a juco player with fundamentals down

Super depressing for such a fantastic season to end with such a clunker.

Awful, awful, awful call but when a game comes down to hoping you get that call to have a chance at a comeback, you don't deserve to win.

saidso17

How do you look at a replay and not call the flagrant 1?  The rule is very clear.  Should have been 2 free throws and posesion.  Could have made it a 2pt. game. Instead Florida gets 2 free throws, lead is 8 and the game is over.  Those refs should be suspended for that no call.  Sucks we were in the position for a call like that to matter.  Love what I saw from Todd in the second half. Huge upside there.

Jamil flopped, nice work.

Lucky he didn't blow his knee out the way it folded under him.

muwarrior97

Very good year, hard to say goodbye and wonder what could have been.....it was there for us but just couldn't throw it in the ocean (fom the beach)

Good luck to Jae and DJO, gonna be big shoes to fill but someone has to step-up, Mayo looks like a candidate for a break-out soph year

We can have a lot of regrets about this game. Florida didn't play well. But we weren't able to shoot. Crower and DJO missed a lot a wide open shots. Too many TO's also, especially in the beginning when we were playing much better.
