Team Sendoff 1:30 at the AL

Im going to swing by the AL but im guessing the turnout won't be great. lots of people in class especially because 130 is right in the middle of a lot of class periods.

Come on .. _maybe_ 50% of students happen to have a Tues/Thurs class right now.  That leaves a few thousand to show up at the Al.  Unless that's what you meant by not a great turnout.

Just got back from the "sendoff." The pep band and cheerleaders were there pep banding and cheerleading. After almost an hour, the team came out, exchanged some slaps of 5 (even Vander!) with the fans and got on the bus. That was it. I had to walk back to the office before Buzz came out. Maybe he did something noteworthy but, if not, it was pretty eh...although, that's kind of what I was expecting. There were a lot of people there at 1:30 but the crowd had seemingly thinned by the time the team came out, which was somewhat disappointing.

No, but the press is digging (not Walker) trying to see if there is more to the story.  They had to deal with the press today more than they wanted to.  That is what I had heard.  

Edit:  This is not fully confirmed, but what I had heard.

Anyone else there notice Mayo's hat as he was loading the bus? I believe it said "I {heart} Haters." Does that constitute showing the chip on your shoulder on your hat? Or perhaps he's the team's Judah Friedlander.
