I'm really looking forward to seeing how elite coaches gameplan for Marquette in a tournament setting.  I consider Billy Donovan to be one of the best and it will be fascinating to see how Florida tries to attack Marquette with a few days to prepare and watch film.  And if we get past Florida, we could get to see how Izzo gameplans for Marquette with only a day or two to prepare.

We obviously have some great coaches in the Big East: Calhoun, Pitino, Boeheim, Huggins, Thompson, etc.  But those guys get to see Marquette at least once a year and are familiar with the players on our roster.  It will be fun to see how Donovan and (I hope) Izzo approach a game against Marquette without that past history and with everything on the line.  I'm also excited to see Buzz coach against those guys -- he's really improved as an in-game coach over the past few seasons.

I love being in the Sweet Sixteen.  These are the best four days of the year.  Rarely in college basketball do you get to bask in victory for this long.  Loving life right now.

If we win on Saturday, we get to bask for a whole week!

I like how you think, brewcity!

Basking plenty now. Win the next two, and I'll be overbasked. Win the last two and I might have to retire to the Old Baskers Home!!!!

And making a road trip to New Orleans  ;)

Or, by contrast, we could end up seeing a team that knows us very well if we get by Florida.  It will be interesting to see how Louisville attacks us given the outcomes of our last two meetings this year.

Look for Donovan to follow a very similar gameplan to Pitino's for the Big East tourney.  Alot of pressing, trapping, etc in hopes of forcing turnovers.  They will speed up the game (can obviously play to Marquette's favor if our guys take care of the ball).  Florida is a better shooting team than Louisville so let's have confidence that Buzz has a solid gameplan for our guys.

I'm not too worried about too many turnovers. According to KenPom, Louisville is 2nd in defense and Florida is 74th. I'm much more worried about our defense in this game than I am about our offense
