Buzz is a bigger asset now and going forward than Dwyane Wade. Lose him and I swear to God I will cancel my season tickets. He's irreplaceable.

Your passion is inspiring but no one is irreplaceable.  People were saying this after Kevin O'Neill left, after Tom Crean left. 

Why is everyone getting all worked up about this?  It's a rumor substantiated by no one.  In fact, I wouldn't even put it at a rumor level.  Buzz has said he will stay as long as we want him.  Have to trust the man, that is all you can do.

As far as the administration goes, they have a university to run, not just an athletic department.  Their charter is not to keep a bunch of 45 to 65 year old men happy about the basketball program.  They will utilize basketball to help in that mission to further accentuate the university but they know it can be a double edge sword which bit them last year.  That is the tradeoff that so many schools go through.  Syracuse is the latest. 

Let's trust Buzz at his word and enjoy this.  If something happens, then the program lives on.  You do support the Marquette basketball team, not the Buzz Williams team.  Right?  This is about WE ARE MARQUETTE, not WE ARE BUZZ WILLIAMS fan club.

P.S. Win or lose this weekend you have delivered the goods. I believe you are the guy that can bring MU back to very elite status. No matter what anyone thinks this program is special in many,many ways. The game is different today and you get it.

I never liked the internet much... not so much what it is but what people make of it.  There's a world of information at peoples' fingertips, but 95% of the people online right now would rather use it to "friend" their uncle's dog or watch porn than enlighten themselves.
