I am in the process of writing a story on Jae Crowder and the relationship he has with his father, Corey, and I had to share this quote with you all. I spoke on the phone with Corey about 20 minutes ago.

In talking about Jae's game, and how he has helped him progress:

"I can teach you how to shoot, run and jump. But I can't teach you how to have the heart of a warrior. Either you're born with it or you're not. There are players who may be better than Jae, but I'll put him in the ring any day against anyone, and he'll come out on top." -Corey Crowder

Coincidence that he used the word "Warrior"?

I think not.

24 beers in a case. 24 hours in a day.  Coincidence, I think not.

Has anyone EVER said a player has the heart of a fr@ckin' Golden Eagle? Or a Hoosier, Billiken, Badger or Buckeye? We had THE coolest nickname in all of college sports and sacrificed it on the altar of political correctness.

Go buy a Golden State shirt.  You'll feel better.

Yup.  Political correctness is a red herring.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Look at this face.

It is the face of a true warrior.
