If I recall, there were a lot of scoopers that said he could play and got ridiculed for it.

Strange, you just registered this year. Did Chicos tell you?

He would definitely help this year's team if he somehow would have been around.  You never know what would have happened, and maybe he would have never developed at Marquette.  But the player that he is today would be a starting point guard at Marquette, no doubt.

I'm happy for him and readily admit I underestimated his game a bit, but from what I saw tonight he's still mainly a 3 point specialist (and a damn good one - 3 for 3 tonight) and a guy to hit free throws when the other team is forced to foul. If he's guarded at the 3 point line and forced to drive the ball (as he was the last 30 minutes tonight) he struggles - 1 for 8 on 2 point shots tonight. I don't think he'd be our starting point guard because from what I saw tonight (and in the past) he's not a point guard.

Christopherson- who cares.

I do.

I like to see what former MU players are doing, and if they leave in "non-dickish" ways, want them to succeed. (As long as it isn't against MU of course.)

Considering that there are dozens of responses, I guess I am not the only one that feels that way.

If he ushers UK out of the tournament with barrage of 3's, then I will care.

This and by all accounts he was a really quality kid. I don't think we saw the real Christopherson his freshman year due to his knee injury. Although, I still say his 3 pointer against Cincy that year was a huge shot. I think his style just didn't fit with the style Buzz wanted to play.

Watching the game, after his awesome start, he didn't do a ton until hitting free throws to seal it, and there were some instances where he was no match for UCONN's guards, so I can still see some of the doubt as far as if he would have played a big role at Marquette. However, I was one who didn't think he was athletic enough to be an impact player at high-D1 and I was very wrong. Honorable mention All Big-12 two years in a row shows that he had success. Hopefully he can keep playing well and knock off Kentucky.

Christopherson is solid, good for the kid.    Not sure he fits our style, then again Cadougan doesn't perfectly either.

Royce White is the real deal when he's not stealing laptops.     Have Kentucky beating ISU but it'll probably be a very good game.

Can't keep track of those golden rodents anymore.   He stole something.

Been real impressed with his physical makeup and play though.

I think he had a few issues at Minnesota. He was accused of the laptops I believe, but adamant he didn't. He assaulted a MOA guard when caught for stealing. I think he has a personality disorder that caused some of this. There was a good article a little while ago about his story and it was very interesting. He's a heck of a player.

Nothing strange.  To answer your question, no.

Some of us were primarily lurkers for a number of years and spent more time on Scout, especially when I was living in Seattle at the time.  LennysTap is another one that lurked here but only joined in the last few years.  He has stated as such on several occasions.  There are others in the same fold.

He was 3rd Team this season.  Not a big difference, just pointing it out.

But I can see why people would say he doesn't seem to fit the system that Buzz is running at Marquette.  I'm glad he found a place where he can have success.

UCONN had the laptop theft.  White stole $100 worth of clothing.  Makes him a candidate to be a part of the 2011-2012 Madison Memorial basketball team.

BOTH of ISU's best players last year were Wisco products, Diante Garrett and Christopherson.   8-)

And Korie Lucious will be a senior there next year.
