Sorry, hate starting new topics but I don't know where else to put this question.

What day and time would our second round matchup be if we advance? Or is it determined after Friday? Same for Bucky.

Planning on golfing Sunday and want to avoid conflicts.

We play in a Thursday/Saturday venue.

GGGG

I am assuming that Saturday game times will be announced some time this evening.

Dangit, someone posted a great link to a media company on Sunday night who seemed to have the first info on game times.

Can't find it now.  Help?

Stronghold

According to the ESPN preview thing when you look at scores and then go to Saturday we play at 11:00 am cst but maybe that hasnt been updated.

mu_hilltopper

No, skat .. it was like somethingmedia.com .. it was a press release from .. maybe the NCAA's distribution partner?  .. not CBS, like marshallmedia.com or something

I have not seen this posted anywhere yet.  Is there any way to find out when we'll tip off on Saturday?

Matt Sarz and Fang's Bites generally have them first.  Also I think there was an official March Madness twitter account, I'll look to find.

Nice. Maybe that's vander's excuse for today's performance.

Just a guess, but an educated one, that MU will tip @ 4:00 Saturday. Why?? Because the CBS time slots, are 12:15, 2:45, 5:00, 7:30 ET. The networks are going to want to feature Cuse, OSU, and KY, which means the games will be on CBS. Kentucky being the number 1 overall seed they will most likely want in prime time(7:30 et), especially if the game is against UCONN. Therefore, MU would play the game before them, which would be 4:00 PM. Just a guess.

That certainly makes sense, however I have leardnto not to be surprised by surprising start times. Also, there are 4 games to be played in Albequerque and Portland. Those will almost certainly occupy some of the later starts. A 1-2:00 start time seems equally possible.

But remember, those games will be on other channels, so they can have late start times as well. i was focusing specifically on the slotted start times for CBS. Louisville has the #1 team in the ocuntry, AND the top broadcasting team there. That all smells like prime time to me.

Any ideas what time we'll tip on Saturday? If not, when we will know? I know someone mentioned a possibility before noon but I don't see how that's possible with 4 networks. Hopefully we start after one (for my sake).

nyg

MU might actually get the prime time game.

Scott Christopherson and ISU are just killing UCONN.

Keeps up, no UCONN/Kentucky game.
