You've gotta take the Big East team over the team with the kid who wasn't good enough for the Big East, right?

ISU beat Providence x 10 and UCONN lost to Providence. Also beat Kansas and Baylor. I think you have to go with ISU

It all comes down to Shabazz Napier. If he plays like a PG who understands that he's not the best player on the team, UConn should win. If he decides it's time for him to take over the game and score a bunch of points, Iowa St. should win. Personally, I don't trust Napier so I'm going with ISU.

I'm picking UCONN to beat Kentucky!

Yes bold/dumb move, it's just UCONNs tourney record speaks for itself.  It wouldn't surprise me at all if they took down the kitty cats.

Coach Calhoun is back and will sit Napier on his a**, if need be.  Huskies.

I have a feeling that most people picking anyone other than UK to come out of that region are picking UConn to beat them, and that was my first thought when I saw UConn in that spot. But it always seems like those trendy second-round upsets are undone by the proposed upset team not making the second round.

I like Iowa State here.

If UCONN gets to kentucky, I can't wait to see the spread on that game.  I'd probably bet my mortgage/rent on that game.

I like Iowa State as well.... I don't understand all the UCONN love. They have underachieved all year. Why do people think that things will suddenly come together for them in the tournament?

GGGG

I think UConn beats Iowa State.

Then I think Kentucky tears them a new one.

You can forget about who beat who in the regular season. This is a whole new ballgame.

Didn't you know..."how much did you beat Providence by" is a new criterion for the committee. That's why Seton Hall missed the field, they only beat Providence by 6 in the regular season. We beat them by 7 and get a 3-seed.

I'm thinking Coach Calhoun will tear the UCONN team a new one well before they get to UK.

Call me crazy, but I wouldn't be in the slightest big shocked if UCONN beat Kentucky. With that said, I have Kentucky winning the whole thing, but I think UCONN could take em.

From a fist fight on the court with Iowa St, showing up at the wrong arena, winning the whole tourney, to Napier choking out Calhoun on the sideline.  Nothing with UCONN would surprise me.

UConn has some wonderful individual talent but they are a terrible team.

Thinking the Mayor's Misfits will be more engaged for victory.
