Georgetown was a potential #3 seed, as was MU.  Georgetown lost in a close double OT loss and MU basically sucked and was never in the game.  What seed does MU get?

We'll still be a 3 most likely.

MerrittsMustache

Still a 3. Losing to a fellow tourney team at a neutral site means nothing.

cheebs09

We were the top 3 seed in most areas. Georgetown won't jump us, One of Wisconsin and Indiana will lose tomorrow. I think we might want Wisconsin to win based on the fact that Indiana has some big wins that may play well to the committee. UW has that win over OSU. We need KU to kick Baylor's butt and then I think we are in good shape for the 3.

4... not sure it matters though. They're gonna have a helluva time with nobody rebounding and a PG who can't dribble, pass, or shoot.

classof2k

Root against Baylor... who else?  I agree that this changes nothing, but I do not trust the committee.

warriorfred

I'm not sure of their current RPI, which is what the committee seems blindly committed to using.  I'll go with a 4 seed.

Agree. Either we show up or we don't.

We won't fall out of the top 10 no matter what.

ecompt

4, and hopefully we play a very weak 13 seed

now a 4, may get screwed to a 5....

MUMac

3 - we were the top 3 seed going in.  Could have been a 2, but would not be a 4.  Too much distance between 9 and 13.

who cares how high we're ranked.

Ranked?  No

Seeded? Yes.

Huge difference in the 3, 4 or 5 slots and who your opponent is.

muwarrior97

Who cares seeding, rank....Just win and advance 1 at a time

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

If we are a 5 there should be an investigation. I thought there was a pretty big gap between 3's and 4's. I may overrate MU's resume, but I would say 85% chance we are a 3 seed.
