Voted for Kevin Jones as POY.

Even though that vote is 100% reasonable..........I hope Jae gives him the business tomorrow. Just so ricky boy has a little hindsight.
Lazar picking up where the BIG 3 left off....

Buzz couldn't vote for Jae, Rick could have.

Voted for Kevin Jones as POY.

So, what you're saying is that Rick Pitino, one of the more outspoken critics of the teams leaving the Big East, actually voted for Kevin Jones.  Hmmmmm...not sure what that does for the WVU conspiracy arguments.  And the fact that Buzz, a member of the much-maligned Catholic conspiracy, also voted for Jones.

Do you think that the WVU fans will ever even consider the fact that some of the coaches might have genuinely thought that Jae was more deserving?  Nah, me neither.

They'll take it to their graves. Do you think the WVA fans' sons/nephews will ever understand years down the line?

Enjoy Waco, Ames, and Lubbock, fools. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

As Marquette plays Houston and SMU...

Are the head coaches the only ones who get to vote on the PotY? Or do assistants get a say, too?

Waco is 200 miles further from Morgantown than Milwaukee is from Houston.

Google has it less than that.  Regardless, the Big East isn't exactly regional for MU or anyone else, is it?

West Virginia, like anywhere else, contains a certain number of reasonable people.  Of course, one sign of a reasonable person is that they tend to keep to themselves opinions that would get them tar and feathered.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Cost aside, would you rather be in:

New York City, Philadelphia, Cincinnati, Chicago, Milwaukee, Tampa, Dallas, Orlando, Houston, etc.

Or would you rather be in:

Ames, Lubbock, Waco, Norman, or Columbia?

Am I just a city boy or is this an easy decision?

As we say in New England, "You can't get there from here."  Much easier getting to Dallas & Houston than Ames, Lubbock & Waco.........

The problem is New York City, Philadelphia, Cincinnati, Chicago, etc. are far more likely to have and enforce laws against sofa burning.

I see.  I took it as a pure distance thing.  Makes more sense as it refers to markets/city size/ease of travel.
