Rick Adelman gets the job.  Definitely a change of pace.  Up tempo style.  Known as a player's coach.  And fortunately for Novak, he doesn't put a premium on defense.  Perfect coach for T-Mac, but Yao might suffer.

Good for Novak.   It puzzled me how all year, Houston would have inconsistent shooting off the bench.   One of the best shooters on the planet sitting down there, and VanGundy couldn't find a match-up that would work for 8-10 minutes a night.  He got what he deserved.

I wonder if he will hire Pete Carril as an assistant again.  A big man who understands the game and can shoot 3's is perfect for the Princeton Offense.
