Top 10 Tuesday Senior Game Changers ESPN

4. Darius Johnson-Odom (Marquette): Soon, Marquette will dance -- in the NCAA tournament, not like Buzz Williams after last week’s win over West Virginia -- and the Golden Eagles have put together an impressive run (12 wins in 13 games) that’s raised their March Madness stock and seeding. Johnson-Odom’s production (18.4 ppg, 40 percent from beyond the arc) has helped this undersized Marquette squad vie for the Big East title. He’s a star. And in a league that’s full of them, he’s been overlooked at times this season. But the underrated game-changer is one of the most talented players in America. He’ll prove it next month.

DJO with no mention of Crowder...discuss!

This blog doesn't mean anything.  Based upon this blog, does that mean Scoop Jardine will win it?  Don't think so.

They were given talking points about teams in November and they said DJO was the man.  They are too lazy to see if that is still the case.

DJO has been "the man" over the course of the season. Crowder has been up and down more than DJO if you look at the season a whole but Jae's been on an amazing run over the past month that I think should earn him BE POY honors. Either way, there's nothing wrong with MU having 2 players who get national attention.

It is easy to look at stats ans see who the leading scorer is. That does not mean that is the best player.

I don't just look at the stats. I watch the games. DJO was the best player on the floor for 3/4 of the season.

Yup. DJO is much more consistent. Jae has those stinker games of 2 pts. Hes on a tear right now and I love it and he should get POY in BE right now. DJO has been more consistent getting his 17+ points and taking over games though.

Happy when either of our stars are mentioned and hopefully one gets POY, but especially hope neither gets snubbed for 1st team All-Big East.  Having two of five all-big east would be amazing too.
The www.valueaddsports.com analysis of basketball, football and baseball players are intended to neither be too hot or too cold - hundreds immerse themselves in studies of stats not of interest to broader fan bases (too hot), while others still insist on pure observation (too cold).
