Ah, the always worthwhile "let's complain about the complainers" thread.

Found this video of the MU-Gtown game at the BC back in 2008.  I hope the outcome is different but the BC was ROCKIN that day!  The noise level after the Burke dunk was off the charts.

The heartbreaking 3 point foul with 2 seconds left to send it to OT.  At the 4:30 mark right after it happens, they flash to Crean -  his reaction?  Slam a Diet Pepsi.  Hilarious.

How dare you complain about the complaining about complainers thread!

I called it worthwhile!  These kinds of threads makes my heart sing.

The alumni sucked because they sat on their hands.

Actually, most of the lower bowl alumni do suck because they sit on their hands and make not a peep.

At the same time, thanks to them for their generous donations.

Homer announced in the Cincy post game that Georgetown is a sell-out.

People still need to actually attend the game for that to matter.

It will be a shame if there is any open seats in the BC this game will be awesome

Tried-and-true coping mechanism for Crean.

Have anyone else seen the ticket prices for this game? They are astronomical! Student tickets going for +/- 40 bucks, and the cheapest upper level as a day or two ago on StubHub was +/- 70!

This thread (next saturday) will be about how disappointed everyone is that so many people left while we were celebrating Jae and DJO's time at Marquette.  I'm always disappointed that more people don't stick around for the ceremony.

They do it after the game?! That's a terrible idea. Everyone else as far as I know does it before the game. Doing it after the game seems like a bad idea. Especially if the team loses. I'm not surprised people leave. They should think about moving it to pregame.

I think doing it after the game is pretty common.  They don't want to mess up the pre-game routine.

The Bradley Center floor is too wooden

People on the Kiss Cam don't realize they're on the big screen fast enough and always just end up waving like an idiot

The student assistants don't hand out the posters with enough vigor

Ugh, and have you seen how slow the student managers are with getting the chairs out at timeouts?  Pitiful.

Those wimpy cheerleaders can't get a T-shirt into the upper deck, even with  the cannon.  And The Eagle has never visited my row with the giant pizza box.
Have some patience, FFS.

Ugh don't get me started.

I had Sacramento Kings season tickets in the lower bowl and every single promotional prize went to the upper deck, who paid 1/10th of what I did.

Those jerks

That's what you get for buying Kings season tickets.

I'm sick and tired of no Saturday night games.  A sold out game on Saturday afternoon just isn't enough for me!  Since I've been complaining about the lack of weekend games, now the only thing left to complain about is too few Saturday night games.

Watch it fella

I know we suck but it's guys like me that watched the terrible games that kept the team where it belongs

Took this from a GT forum today in regards to the Bradley Center...

It is one tough place to play. Even though it is an NBA style arena, it is an extremely loud and hostile college hoops environment. It is one of those places where you feel slightly unsafe rooting for the visiting team (that doesn't stop me). The fans are pretty intense and they have a nice history they draw on, from the Al McGuire 1970s teams to more recently Dwayne Wade.

I think we're too hard on our fans and our arena.  Announcers consistently say how tough it is to win at the BC.  Other fans clearly think our arena is tough to play at.  Then again, it IS GT, and they DO sell some of their tickets via Groupon.

karavotsos

Drove by the BC.  There were kids lined up outside.
