I put this out on twitter a while back, but wanted to share here.  Hoya Prospectus does BE Performance Charts, and this is my new favorite stats link on the Internets.

http://www.hoyaprospectus.com/p/big-east-performance-charts.html

It's like the Tuesday Truths from Basketball Prospectus, but better, because it's adjusted for strength of opponent and location.  You can see how each team is doing in just conference play as well as over the last five games.  However, my favorite part are the graphs.

For example, the graphs provide some evidence of the numbers for "Better with Otule".  Marquette had four top ten level performances when he was on the team.  You can also track and see how the team has done as a trend over time (declining after Otule got hurt, then slowly getting better).  Worth noting... Saturday's game was a Top five performance, meaning #mubb played like a top five team.

Feel free to contrast the #mubb graphs with those of Syracuse, ND, GU, or the bottom feeders.
