Stats Menu

Whatever happened to the stats menu on the side of Hangin' at the Al?  I always liked it as it showed who was currently online.  It can be seen in the internet archive link below.

Is there anyway to bring this back?

If you click on the Home page, at the bottom of the page, it shows users online.  Is that what you mean?

I attached a screenshot.  This bar used to show up on the side of Hangin' at the Al.

I *could* turn it back on, but it's a pretty big draw on server resounces since the "live stats" need to be generated every time ANY user clicks on a new thread...which is why it got turned off in the first place.  Instead, if you *love* stats, I suggest you just go to the home page, and follow the stats links from there.
