Mike wasn't writing about the Big Ten, he was writing about the Big East. And the Big East clearly isn't as good this season as it had been the previous few years. Why this fact is perceived as some kind of insult is beyond me.

It's not the inferiority, it's the picking at all things Marquette that is never applied to Wisconsin.

He writes the column to garner pages views. MU fans hate it and read it. UW fans love it and read it. It's the lesser of the two evils and he's scared of Wisconsin.

 The team that finished ELEVENTH place in the Big East won the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.  

Actually, UCONN finished 9th, we finished 11th.  We did not win the national championship last year.
