Only 2 bench points.  Hurts to not have DG and send Jamil to the starting lineup, but we need a lot more out of that group.  Pressure there on Mayo, only because not a lot is expected of the others.

Jamail brings nothing to the table.  Biffed a wide open layup.  Anderson plays hard but just doesn't "get it" yet.  Mayo has been non existent, but have to think it's just the ups and downs of being a freshman.  Will need mayo to knock down some threes against notre dame.

GGGG

According to the ESPN boxscore, D. Wilson started and Blue came off the bench?  Is that accurate?  I missed the beginning.

They ain't gonna win this one

I enjoy reding these comments after the fact. Why didn't you post anyrhing after MU started turning it around, is it because you look like an asshat, Easy to post moronic statements, not so easy to be accountable for your idiotic comments.

Nah, they're just kidding.

Since the bench play was lackluster, Derrick did win Mac's 6th man award for 3 rebounds in 9 minutes.  Which made the difference in the 35-32 edge, very big reason for the W.

You could ask this question of multiple posters in these in-game threads.

I know.  I undestand the frustration while watching the game, but damn support the team have some optimism, we are legitamately challanging for a big east title

Honestly, I never felt that nervous tonight. I don't think that's a good thing. When we get down by double-digits to tourney-type teams, that should be a danger sign. Instead, I just think "we'll come back". I'd love to see a game where we lead end-to-end again. Saturday would be a great time to start that trend.

Getting behind early is not a good thing. It will come back to bite them eventually hopefully not in the tournament
I  felt the same way though, never felt like they were going to lose

What is with Cadougan? For point a guard, he finds himself in the air with no options way too often and he just makes poor decisions. He does really, really good things out there, but you can never anoint him as good point guard until he stops the careless turnovers.

Anyway, I think we're going to mop the floor with the Pirates in the second half. I expect us to clean it up.

Nice call.  Someone's been paying attention the last few weeks.

This one had me concerned for a while.  Usually when we fall behind early the other team is making everything and you know they won't keep it up.  When Seton Hall was up 11 in the first half, I was thinking that they should be up 20 because they missed some easy close shots and had a bunch of unforced turnovers.  Basically they were up 11 and weren't playing all that well.

That's why I don't participate in the in game chats.  I'm always fearing the worst.

Come on Dude, they looked DOA against a bottom feeder. BTW, let's see how they do over the next 4 games before "challenging for a Big East title" is part of the daily vocabulary. I just wanna know if we're still a 2 seed?

"Come on dude", where have you been the last few weeks.  Pretty pessimistic, (and obviously wrong) to declare a loss in the first half, down by 11 at home to a so called "bottom feeder".   If you don't like being called out then don't make the stupid comments.

Marquette is 8-2, in second place, one game behind Syracuse.  That is contending for the title by definition alone. You can't change the facts, and pretend their record didn't happen. You ignore what they already accomplished, but take stock in something negative that might happen.  Great support.  It's almost like you are hoping for them to do poorly.
