Not a great start to my morning.  He cited how good they looked at Lville, and thinks they are prepared for a chance to break out with a win over a ranked team.  As I posted yesterday, the fact that they are the 23rd best offensive rebounding and how close we came to losing to them at home (can't quite forget beating them by 7 at home and then losing at Nova by 18 a few years ago).

However, I see real opportunity.  If we win today I believe it will show we really have improved since that 4-point win at home and make me feel really good about winning at least 3 of the next 4.  If we lose, I believe it points to the fact that we just need to hope to avoid any great offensive rebounding teams in the first weekend of the NCAA.

Hope our history of starting well in morning games continues in 20 minutes.  GO MARQUETTE!

Digger hates MU, but I digress.  It would be a bad loss if MU falls to Nova today.  They are 10-11 for cripes sake.

I don't know guys, Digger picked ND over Syracuse. He's goooooooood.

MattyWarrior

Never any love from Digger the dog. He adds nothing new to "College Gameday"

Nova has a lot of talent, a decent amount of height, and a legitimate star in Wayns.  It's also a Big East road game, which can never be taken lightly.  This should be a dog fight.

A bad loss to lose to Villanova at Villanova? Really? I don't think so...these guys are gonna finish 17-13 or somewhere close...not a bad loss. And no I wouldn't be surprised if we lose today with how we are playing.

dwaderoy2004

Dude, they're 10-11.  It wouldn't be like losing to uwm, but if MU wants to finish in the top 4, this is the type of game they have to win.  This is not your typical nova team.  It would be a bad loss.

There are no easy road games.

No, there are no easy road wins, but relative to @cincy, @uconn, @nd, @wvu... This one is easier.

Pretty sure they have as many or more 4*'s than us and a Micky D's All American or 2.  They're very young, but they're DEFINITELY talented.  And as stated before, it's a Big East road game.

dwaderoy2004

Who cares.  All that talent is under. 500. I expect us to beat 10-11 teams on their court.

yeah, but last 6 they've been 3-3 with the 3 losses being Syracuse and games decided on the road late at Cincy and Lville.  That's a pretty good 6 game stretch for an improving young team.  It's a good win if we win adn good loss if we lose in my book - classic toss-up in my book so let's go get it.

So posters on Scoop hate Digger for being accurate at his job?  I hate him for coaching ND.

Can anyone snag a clip of him either saying he was wrong and/or praising MU?

Would be a clip for a lifetime.
