Won't really matter until May, and it's only one mock. I've seen others that don't have him drafted at all. I'm optimistic that he will be drafted, though I expect 2nd round. I know a lot of people compare his prospects to McNeal, but I think that the success of Wes is still having a ripple effect that makes MU guys look a bit better come draft day.

Do we have to go through this again? Just because a person doesn't think DJO can make it in the NBA, it doesn't mean the person is a hater.

Some college superstars, guys far more productive than DJO, couldn't hack it in the NBA.

If someone thinks Vander shouldn't be playing in critical points in the game, that means we hate him and he sucks.  At least that's the translation that a few have here (even though Buzz came to the same conclusion).  If someone opines that DJO won't make the NBA, that means they hate DJO?  What the hell is wrong with some of you?  It's an opinion.  This is a board with people expressing opinions.

Dominic was slotted in the draft as well, when he was a frosh.

The funny thing about 2nd rounds: teams aren't necessarily looking for a steal as much as they are looking at deferred salaries (i.e., signing players and shelving them overseas to save on payroll).

Hence, the Euro has dominated the 2nd round.

Speaking of Euro, DJO would dominate in Europe.

First, I'm not saying DJO won't get drafted in the first round. He might. And I still don't think he'll be an NBA player.

Frank Williams from Illinois got drafted in the first round. So did Butch Lee. So did Adam Morrisson -- way up high. So did LaRue Martin - #2 overall. So did ... do I have to go on and on?

I didn't think Mo Acker or Marc Marotta would be NBA players, either. So I guess that means I am totally not a real Marquette fan, huh?

He's going to tear it up in Europe and then you'll be eating your words as he wins NBA Finals MVP.  Can't believe you would hold this opinion.  You can't possibly be a fan of Marquette if you don't think the fan favorite Rob Frozena isn't an NBA player.  (Which, by the way, was one of my biggest pet peeves at Marquette basketball games...the student section got louder for Rob Frozena than they did for entire games...sad.  But hey, Marquette's "Sixth Man" is still "The Best Student Section in the Nation!")
