I have a group of 7 people flying out to Providence for the game this next weekend. Does anyone have any suggestions on things to do, places to eat or places to drink?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Trinity Brew House, it's right across the street from the Dunk, good quality brew.  Head up to Federal Hill, the Italian section of Providence, most would agree the best Italian food in New England.

Clam Crowder

There's a Bar Louie right near the dunk now if you want to go to a familiar place. There is Murphy's right near the Dunk, and RiRa, both Irish bars. Trinity is also good, and Federal hill is great Italian food. Angelo's or Caserta's are your best options if you're looking for a cheaper meal. Caserta's is pizza, and Angelo's is just about everything else.

Frenns Liquor Depot

There is also a party being hosted by Marquette.  Details below.

Blue and Gold Reception at 5 p.m. ET
RiRa Irish Pub - Providence
50 Exchange Terrace
RiRa is located within a half-mile walking distance to the Dunkin Donuts Center.

Thanks for the suggestions so far. We're planning on going to the Alumni Reception, so that is definitely on the list. Some of the other stuff mentioned sounds pretty good as well!

The area around Brown University (Thayer St), also very popular to spend some time too.
