just give it to Ox

Gardner is FEELING it tonight.  Great to see him smiling and having fun out there!

Could make an argument for DJO. Quiet in first half and really picked it up when we needed him.

DCWarriors04

22 pts and 15 boards....without ox, might be a very different game

Might be? We'd be out of it.

Davante.  DJO a distant second.

No contest tonight...Davante by a mile.

SHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESH.

Davante, but in the first half, his defense was almost as bad as his offense was good.    But he was the only offense we had, so all is forgiven.

+1.  DG was pretty awful on D in first half, good in half 2. Overall very good game for the big guy.  I'd go DJO, but no issue with Gardner being the choice.

I bet that the last time a MU player had 22 points AND 15 rebounds was a long, long time ago.  You'd have to go back to Key or McIlvaine, I bet.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Robert Jackson had 24 and 15 against Kentucky in the Elite Eight in 2003.

Without DG, the Warriors are not in the first half.  But without DJO coming to life in the second half, it's a close game or a loss.

1.  DJO

So, you prefer losing a home game in the first half, to winning a close game?

Robert Jackson had 24 and 15 against Kentucky in the Elite Eight in 2003.

It was the best game of his career, but was completely overshadowed by another performance.

I believe Lazar did or at least came close to putting up 20+/15 a few times.

Gardner carried us when Crowder and DJO were on the bench in the first half. DG!

So are Davante's and Darius's new nicknames "Underpants" and "Profits," respectively?

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

DJO had a solid game, great passing game to go along with the points. Van also played a very good game, solid D, fantastic facilitating, and picked his spots well in terms of taking shots. Crowder seemed quiet as a mouse at times, yet in DJO fashion managed to finish with a great line, 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 steals.

But let's be honest...this one is a no-brainer. 22 and 15? Awesome game from Ox. His defense lacked in the first half and he was the primary reason Achiuwa had 13 at the break. Thankfully, he tightened that up in the second half and didn't spend so much time doubling guys beyond the three-point line. Gardner is the SOTG and deserves to be smoking a STOGie.

GGGG

Part of the reason his D sucked though was because he was hedging out so high.  Buzz seemed to pull him back in the second half cause I only remember seeing him out there a couple times.

DomJamesToTheBasket

It's going to be nice having DG for 2.5 more years.  ;D
