Why is he out there he has no offense unless it against div two player, no one guard him on offense its 4 against five. He can drive to the basket and when he does he never finishes at the hoop.

lol yup, its true blue ,

for some reason i picture jack black in my head going to the hole saying "raindrops" only to be stuffed or rejected by the rim.

Thank you for your vomit of a post.  So so so enlightening.

You can't deny he turned ball over way too much at end. Why not dribble drive drive to pass instead of dribble, fade, chuck?

Yeah, let's ignore the 3:1 assist/TO ratio for the game.

To be fair, Blue had some nice passes in the first half.  But it's true that he is ZERO threat on offense and it's become comical to watch him try to drive and get the ball swatted back in his face.  If he's going to drive, he better have an open man to dish to, because he is not scoring.

He didn't turn the ball over in the final 10+ minutes of the game.

Dumb dumb dumb.  He had two turnovers in the game...last one around the 11 minute mark.

He had two turnovers...I believe one was in the second half when he whipped a pass to Davante down low.

Mayo was the one turning it over late tonight.

Furthermore, Blue took *two* shots.  You people bitch and moan when he throws up a bunch of crap, and then he has a game where he plays pretty much within himself, and you STILL complain.

Although this thread is terrible, 60 percent of our starting lineup can't score AT ALL.  That is a problem.

Da 'Lanche

I thought the momentum shifted when they took Vander OFF the point and put JC and Wilson back in....Vander was finding the open guys and Georgetown was respecting his ability to penetrate the zone or get by his man and the offense was clicking under him.  To lay this one on Vander and ignore the turnovers by Mayo, JC, Wilson et al is way off base.

I thought Vander had found a niche' running the offense for a lot of this game.   His drive and rejected prayer late in the 4th was idiotic, granted, but other than that the dude was solid tonight.

Figured I'd read this thread to feel better about myself and it worked.

Good lord, not another 40 page post on this.

If youre that frustrated, there is a good show on the Military Channel on AK 47's.  Honest, it's  on right now.  CHANGE the channel!   ;D

i just am really disappointed by the man because he was suppose to be an explosive player, national recruit, go pro early type of guy and he is turning into a pass first guard ---- i thought that was junior's role

what a bummer,

I agree with the first part.  Unfortunately, tonight we could have used JWill, but he had a forgettable night.  Took himself out of the game with silly fouls as well.

As for the last, I would not call it idiotic.  No one else was doing anything offensively.  DJO was taking pump fake after pump fake and passing to Crowder.  At least Blue attacked the rim.  When he does, though, everyone else on MU just watches.

Really think he should get 15 to 20 MPG at point. He's a good passer and a much better defender than Cadougan.

I, and the official scorer, must have missed those nice passes by Cadougan.  He finished with a whopping 1 assist.  He did have 2 TO's though.

Thank you!  This is the problem.  Vander was a positive tonight.  I think we need more structure on offense and just run some plays once in a while to get other guys more involved or some open looks.  Dribble drive is a nice offense when you have more than 2 guys who can finish, but we don't.
