OT: God Hates the Indians

I have come to the conclusion that God hates the Indians.

Exhibit 1: The Indian's first three home games get snowed out.

Exhibit 2: The Indian's are forced to play their "home opener" in Milwaukee

Exhibit 3: The Indians arrive in Milwaukee and are promptly followed by unseasonly fridgid temperatures and an April snow storm

Exhibit 4: The Indians leave town and Milwaukee temperatures recover to around 50 degrees with an apperance from the sun

It's clear that if they do not change their nickname they will forever have to endure the wrath.

I was at the game on Friday with two of my kids.  It was pretty ridiculous.  We had fun, but it was very cold and very snowy.

It's clear that if they do not change their nickname they will forever have to endure the wrath.

I would lobby for a name change too, but the "REDs" is already taken by a fellow OH team. What about the "Navy Blues"?

Then they can repaint the Billiken and adopt him as their official mascot!

this is sillyness.  the indians will always be the indians.



unless of course they change their name to the warriors but keep the indian guy as their logo.

hopefully, there isn't a group that is petitioning for them to keep their name though and with the political correctness b.s. that this country is showing everywhere, FSU will be the only sports team in any league represented by an American Indian mascot....but if the blackhawks in Chicago and the Indians are forced to change their names, i'm moving to canada...lol

the worst name in sports is the Washington Redskins... and its in our nation's capital... oof.... could you imagine a team with the name "blackskins", oh my.  I don't understand how the Redskins have lasted this long, it is quite awful

Redskins has lasted so long because it's football. For some reason football is the only sport in the world.
