Since the BE expanded to 16 teams in 2006, only MU and Pitt have won at least 10 BE games every season.

This year Pitt is reeling after three bad losses and most likely out of the top 25 for a while.  They lost to Wagner at home (?!?), killed at ND (who is not good this year) and today at home to Cincy.  Right now Pitt winning 10 BE games does not look like its going to happen now that they are 0-2 after losing two winnable games.

Can MU win at least 10 BE games this season and stand alone as the most consistently good team year in and year out?

Thoughts?

While not being below-average in a regular season has been nice, I'd instantly trade all those regular seasons for the postseason success of nearly everyone else who's been in that not-below-average group over the past 6 years.

And buzz would be roasted alive that below average season.

No one else does. We lost our double-digit streak when we lost to Cincy & SHU last year.

I'm with Brew. I guess if you want to say never below .500. I always thought the better streak before last season was MU being the only league team to finish at least 4 games over .500 in league play since the expansion to 16 teams. Another way, MU was the only team to win at least 60 percent of its league games each season since the expansion to 16 teams before last season.

As Buzz was after last year's late-season losses to SJU, UC and Hall last season, Another.

The not below-average group over the last 6 years includes UConn, Gtown, cuse, ND, WV, UL, Pitt and nova BTW. I'd say MU is about 8th in terms of postseason success in that group over the past 6 seasons, behind everybody but probably ND.
