I know most of you are watching football, but I'm watching Oral Roberts-Xavier because it looks like the only chance for MU to get in the top 10 Monday.

The Oral Roberts Golden Eagles are hitting the short-handed (suspensions from Cincy fight) Xavier, going up 16-7.

Xavier may come back and take over, and sometimes voters are forgiving when a team loses shorthanded (see Ohio State-Kansas).

But my guess because of the taint of why they were suspended (though certainly cincy is in more trouble), that a loss on the home court would drop Xavier to 11 and let us slip up to 10.

Otherwise, have to believe we are stuck at No. 11 in teh final poll before the LSU game.
The www.valueaddsports.com analysis of basketball, football and baseball players are intended to neither be too hot or too cold - hundreds immerse themselves in studies of stats not of interest to broader fan bases (too hot), while others still insist on pure observation (too cold).

I know Xavier is significantly shorthanded in this game, but I think they'll drop further than 11. I could see some voters dropping them into the high teens to low 20s, which would assuredly keep them out of the top 12 or so.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

Meh, I wouldn't say low 20's. My guess is 16... You're bound to lose when you're missing your best two gangsters.
