Awful to lose Chris - defensive presence, great kid.
One of the adjustments might be less time for Junior.  Can't afford to have opposition guards breaking him down without big man to stop them.
So which combo are are we better off with ?
Junior & Chris
or Derrick and Ox ?
Might sound crazy, but I think it's Derrick and Ox.  Badger game is evidence.

You're breaking this down too basic, but either way the answer is Junior an O'Tule.

Yes, you sound crazy.

It's Junior and Chris, and it's not even debatable.

Disagree.  Our best win (some consider yet under Buzz) was the victory at Wisconsin.  Cadougan didn't play!  Wilson was huge in that game - defended the heck out of Taylor.  Wilson doesn't turn it over unlike Junior of late.  Gardner can handles passes significantly better than Otule.  Scores the ball much better.

Don't think it is a black and white/clear cut/without a doubt answer...either way.

Junior has struggled lately, but he will come around.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

Junior and Chris.   Because nobody else seems to get Chris the ball on time in the right spot.   Anybody can feed DG.

I'm just glad we have each combination because they all possess skills we need on both ends of the court.  Nice to be able to sub Junior out for Wilson on D and Gardner in for some post offense.

These are good problems to have...We have so many guys that can do so many things

"Of late" = one game.

And I have said this before, the Wisconsin game was the perfect game to lose Junior because they don't pressure the guards.  Come BE time is when you are going to see how important Junior is...and how much we will miss Otule.

Agreed, except we are going to miss Otule at LSU and vs Vandy.  We are going to miss him very much.

Offensively, you have an argument. Every other facet of the game, it's not close.

No doubt Wilson has a great game. Junior's is better though, 5 TOs against Green Bay is an anomaly likely due to the frantic pace of the game.

Hoopaloop

Is he out for the year or not?  Has there been a statement from Buzz or the university?  Quick healing Mr. Otule.

Which in my opinion is one reason why it isn't a clear cut no brainer as to why the Cadougan Otule combo is a better combo than the Wilson/Gardner combo...

Chris has limitations with his depth perception and rightfully so given his eye condition. It is remarkable he's able to compete as well as he does at the Big East level being essentially blind in 1 eye.

I'll probably step back from these discussions as I don't want to diss Chris or Junior....as I certainly value their contributions and value to the team.  Just think that DW and DG are a pretty intriguing/productive duo...as well.

Chris was bad vs Wisco and Junior didnt play but they are still the better two. I know wilson can defend but he literally couldnt score on me right now.

Will we have Wilson for the next game? Any info.

I think he was referring to Derrick Wilson.  But yes, it sounds like Jamil will be ready to go on Saturday.
