Coleman

This might have been brought up before but I was looking at the rankings and this year makes it more relevant than others. Xavier, MU, Georgetown, Gonzaga and Creighton are all ranked. And SLU was ranked earlier this year and is still a 1 loss team.

Why not have a preseason Jesuit Basketball tournament? It would probably be one of the premier preseason basketball tournaments. I know SLU and Xavier, MU and Georgetown are in the same conference but you could rotate it so we are never in the tournament the same years. Would be a solid field and cool to keep some old Jesuit rivalries.

Could pick 4 teams from the following group each year...So each team would be in it every 3 or 4 years.

Loyola Chicago
Marquette
SLU
Gonzaga
Creighton
Boston College
Xavier
Georgetown
Holy Cross
Detroit
Fordham
Loyola Marymount
USF
Santa Clara

Wouldn't it make a great league:

Jesuit East
Georgetown (4)
Boston College (38)
Xavier (78)
Fairfield (105)
St. Peter's (160)
St. Joseph's (164)
Fordham (206)
Loyola-MD (217)
Canisius (236)
Holy Cross (298)

Jesuit West
Gonzaga (47)
Marquette (63)
Creighton (123)
St. Louis (130)
Loyola Chi (133)
Santa Clara (169)
USF (213)
Loyola Marymount (224)
Seattle (282)

Holy crap, that's not a good league.

I would be stoked for the Canisius/University of San Francisco tilts.

The only teams worth playing in there on a season by season basis for Marquette is - Georgetown, Xavier, BC, Gonzaga, Creighton... and that's about it, maybe SLU.

Otherwise, lots of half-empty Bradley Center games ahead.

What are the numbers next to each school's name?

I think it's the amount of alumni/faculty/fans who would think this Jesuit league is a good idea.
